Show & Tell: Jay-Z – On to the Next One

On the verge of a new year, Jay-Z dropped the video for the Swizz Beats-produced “On to the Next One.” Such a good idea. This video is pure bravado. It’s hip-hop, but so much more—filled with insane imagery and playing to those Mason/Illuminati myths surrounding him. Is it Masonic that when I type Mason, it gets auto-capitalized by Word?
It might be oversaturation (and if so, then props to Hov for putting himself out there), but as time goes on I find myself liking Blueprint 3 more and more.

Yeah, fuck what everyone else says. This video rules. It’s so slick, so hip-hop.
