I made fun of so many of those psa ads back in the day. The damn robot who put his/her arm back on. We would reenact that shit but in a sarcastic way Some of those I’ve never even seen before.
And ya, Jef, Mailer sounds more and more bad ass every time I read about it. He headbutted somebody! I cant remember who, but it was somebody, and he just straight up head butt him.

Oh man I love that story about Norman Mailer wanting to fight Lois because of the King Kong cover. I’ve loved the Ali one for years. The one with Patterson dead in the middle of the ring — I knew the image but had no idea they were calling the fight for the underdog. Gutsy. Extra cool.

Man, I love Gawker for that Canadian PSA post. I had never seen that WSIB grease post and it has now traumatized me. Also, Burnt Toast and People Say I Eat Too Many Chockolate Barz are two Great Canadian Memes.
