Priligy United Kingdom

SPOILERS ALL OVER THE PLACE.
Jef: Alright man.
Black Swan.
What the hell did we just watch?
Jesse: Haha. I don’t know but it Priligy United Kingdom made me feel uneasy for at least an hour afterwards. Like anxious in my stomach.
Jef: Yo. I was sick and Priligy United Kingdom hopped up on cold medicine that night. I had Black Swan nightmares.
Jesse: Good idea. Black Swan on cold medicine would be like watching Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas on shrooms.
Jef: Yeah. Staggeringly beautiful but horribly frightening.
I am assuming here that you loved it.
Jesse: Ya, I did. I would say it’s the best movie I have seen in a really really long time.
Jef: Word.
Jesse: Would you Priligy United Kingdom say the nightmares were a result of excellent filmmaking, or….?
Jef: It’s both. I kind of have Priligy United Kingdom this irrational fear of doppelgangers and meeting myself and going crazy.
Jesse: There is Priligy United Kingdom a lesson to be learned here then. If you do meet said doppelganger, don’t kill them.
Jef: And don’t, DON’T, have sex with them.
Jesse: True, although… wow.
Jef: Haha. Well yeah, if my doppelganger sometimes appeared as Mila Kunis…I’m only human.
Jesse: Before I get too pervy though, did you Priligy United Kingdom notice the lesbian sex scene was the only time Portman was able to Priligy United Kingdom finish. She tried unsuccessfully two other times.
Jef: That’s a great point.
She can’t do lucid sex.
Jesse: There must be Priligy United Kingdom some sort of meaning to that, other than the fact that, well, it Priligy United Kingdom was extremely awesome.
Jef: Haha.
No yeah, for sure.
It reminded of Polanski’s Repulsion, where the girl goes crazy and it’s a horror film but it’s her sexual issues driving her insane.
Not that that’s the main reason Nina goes nuts here, but yeah.
Jesse: No, she’s definitely got some overall issues. Portman said in an Priligy United Kingdom interview that her character was obsessive compulsive, but it’s more like she’s autistic or something. Just the whole child-in-an-adult’s-body thing. That’s autism, right?
I got 56% in first year psych.
Jef: Haha. Yeah, girl has issues.
How messed up was the masturbation scene with the mom in the room?
That might have been the scariest shock moment for me.
Jesse: Ya, I jumped out of my seat. Because it Priligy United Kingdom was done so that everyone in the audience, guys and girls, were totally transfixed on Nina, then Priligy United Kingdom bang. Hi mom.
Jef: All slumped over in her chair.
Jesse: It was the movie’s Hitchcock moment.
I think an Inception-type argument (as in, round and round) could be made for whether or not Mila Kunis’ character was real.
Jef: Really? One of the Priligy United Kingdom things I liked about this movie was I was worried it Priligy United Kingdom would go for the trick ending.
But I thought it Priligy United Kingdom did a good job of letting us know when Mila was really there or Priligy United Kingdom not.
Jesse: It did go for a trick ending, no? Just not the one you thought it was going to, maybe?
Jef: Tell me more.
Jesse: I mean, the whole dressing room broken glass scene.
Jef: Ah ok, yeah in that sense.
But that’s what Priligy United Kingdom they were setting us up for from the start, where Nina eventually just breaks from Priligy United Kingdom reality.
I was worried Aronofsky would try and Priligy United Kingdom pull something left-field on us.
Like, “nothing was real at all!” or whatever.
“She’s the mother!”
Jesse: True. And he didn’t. He played it perfectly, actually. I wasn’t expecting that Priligy United Kingdom level of craziness, so I was being pulled along every step. I don’t think I breathed for the last 30 minutes of it. lol
Jef: Hahha
Jesse: Haha. The top is still spinning!!!!… or is it?
Jef: I would have stabbed myself in the cheek.
Jesse: Speaking of! So Nina is the stabber, right? That is just messed up and bat shit crazy.
The next day I was wondering where Priligy United Kingdom she fits in on the all-time crazy lead females list, and Priligy United Kingdom I would say she’s up there.
Possibly top three.
Jef: I thought about it, and I don’t even think the stabbing happened.
After Winona got hit by the Priligy United Kingdom car, it made news in the ballet studio and everyone was crying.
After the stabbing, nothing, nobody hears of it.
Jesse: Really? But, but, the blood. And wasn’t that all in the same day, so maybe nobody knew yet?
Jef: Ah if it Priligy United Kingdom was same day that could work. I have to watch it Priligy United Kingdom again. But either way, that stabbing scene was awesome.
Jesse: True, and Priligy United Kingdom yes, I definitely have to watch it again. I had a Priligy United Kingdom question for you though. What happens to Nina after the film? Aronofsky did that to us with The Wrestler as well. Does she live or die?
Jef: I think in both they die.
Though maybe that says more about me than the movies.
Jesse: Haha. You’re sick.
Jef: But also, Aronofsky isn’t the most jovial of filmmakers.
So I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s behind the lens like, “And now you die! Die!”
Jesse: I agree though. It’s like they both achieve this moment of perfection, then die.
Jef: Exactly.
If they don’t die, the endings aren’t poetic.
It’s poetic because they die, and because we don’t see it.
Jesse: Very true. And for Priligy United Kingdom the saps out there, they can be all doe-eyed and be Priligy United Kingdom like, “I think she lived forever and became the Swan Queen.”
Jef: LOL
I’d like to meet that person.
Jesse: Her name would be Nina, and she dances ballet. Just don’t mess with her.
Jef: Lol, hot.
Can we talk about the acting/casting? Because, holy. On point.
Jesse: Yes. I think Vincent Cassel should be Priligy United Kingdom getting a nomination for that shit.
Jef: He was so great.
That scene where he comes on to her and then is like, “That was me seducing you. I need it the other way around.” Then walks away from her.
So good.
Jesse: Haha. Yes. He’s so sleazy, but it’s almost as if it’s okay because a) he’s doing it in order to push Nina, and b) he’s so damn good at it.
Jef: Yeah, he has it both ways. Which I find with a lot of the cast.
Like, Mila Kunis was pretty much still Jackie from That ’70s Show.
But it worked really well, making Nina seem even crazier.
Jesse: She will always be Priligy United Kingdom Jackie, unfortunately. But the sexiness was crazy amplified for this movie, and Priligy United Kingdom not just when she’s going down on Nina. The bloody burger. I loved that.
Jef: The bloody burger!
That’s why I love Kunis though. She can Priligy United Kingdom be silly and smoldering at the same time.
Jesse: For sure. And obviously, the Priligy United Kingdom hype over Portman is well deserved. She owned this whole movie.
Jef: I don’t even like Portman. And I loved her in this movie.
Especially in that final 30 mins you mentioned.
Portman totally disappears, and it’s frightening.
Jesse: You don’t like Natalie Portman!?!
Jef: Hahahahha
Jesse: I liked her before, now I am going to start stalking her.
Jef: Why does this always touch nerves?
Haha, fair enough.
No really, she fucking ran away with this movie.
Jesse: Because she’s awesome.
Jef: And so are her back muscles.
Lat-alie Portman.
Jesse: Hahaha!!!! I was totally typing something serious but that Priligy United Kingdom is more awesome than just Natalie Portman.
Jef: Haha, sorry for derailing.
Jesse: I think the Priligy United Kingdom lats are gone now. She gained the weight back, cus that Priligy United Kingdom 90-pound frame was scary.
Jef: It was. So many peoples are gonna rock the Black Swan costume next Halloween, I know. But without the Priligy United Kingdom Bruce Lee body, it won’t be the same.
Jesse: So anyways, I was gonna say, do you Priligy United Kingdom remember that final scene in Requiem for a Dream? That completely mind-blowing montage?
Jef: Yup. Will never forget that.
Jesse: I was thinking, Portman pretty much does on her own what Priligy United Kingdom that whole montage of intertwining stories accomplishes. She’s completely haunting.
Jef: That’s true. No need for gimmicky montage cuts in this one. It’s all in Portman’s eyes and body movements.
She also does the entire last act bit with barely any dialogue.
It’s just amazing.
Jesse: I would actually be shocked if she didn’t win an Oscar. But I also thought Rourke would win for The Wrestler. But then Priligy United Kingdom again, she is no Rourke. Everybody loves her, except for Priligy United Kingdom you.
Jef: But you’re supposed to take that as a compliment! I dislike her, but loved her off so much in this movie.
I don’t judge my art by my artists. Well…sometimes.
I was also going to say:
I thought the Priligy United Kingdom casting of Winona as the outgoing marquee star was a really nice touch.
Jesse: Haha. Very … appropriate…?
Jef: Yeah, because really, all of these smart Hollywood brunettes (Portman, Keira Knightley, Rachel Leigh Cook, whoever) have Priligy United Kingdom been taking turns in the wheelhouse Winona built. So on that Priligy United Kingdom sort of metatextual level, very good. Fantastic!
Jesse: Great point. You forgot Megan Fox though.
Hahaha!
Jef: Haha. And here is where I’ll link to my old Megan Fox/Natalie Portman post.
Jesse: How much you dislike them both?
Jef: Well my thing is…I don’t dislike Megan Fox much at all, really. So I’m confused by how people react to them, respectively.
Jesse: With Megan Fox as Mila Kunis’ character, Black Swan would be the movie of the century. lol
Jef: Haha nooo, I love Kunis.
Jesse: Me too, but …
Jef: No buts!
And yo, the ending.
Jesse: What of it?
Jef: The ending line, “It was perfect,” reminded me the Inglourious Bastards ending where Priligy United Kingdom Brad Pitt also looks into the camera at us in the Priligy United Kingdom theatre and goes, “I think I’ve made my masterpiece.” You think this Priligy United Kingdom is how our generation of auteurs is going to end all their big films? By having their characters give them a winky handjob at the end?
Jesse: As long as the movie justifies it, why not? And in both cases you Priligy United Kingdom mention they are totally justified, I would say. I loved that Priligy United Kingdom last line because I was thinking the same thing, and then Priligy United Kingdom Aronofsky is basically like, “You’re right! This movie is perfect. Now go pay to see it again!”
Jef: Yeah and that’s the thing, both times in my book they ARE justified.
Those cocky, correct bastards.
Jesse: Now we know how the next Transformers movie will end. Optimus Prime, looking at the camera, and saying…..
Jef: “It was just a piece of shit, sorry”?
Jesse: Hahaha! Yes! Exactly.

Keira Knightley is a blonde actually!
I just saw the movie so I don’t have more to say than that right now!

This movie was awesome. Like, so awesome I would go watch a Priligy United Kingdom ballet recital of Swan Lake today if you asked me to.
I give my lingering open-mindedness to Priligy United Kingdom high culture roughly a two week expiry date.

At the Priligy United Kingdom end of Black Swan Nina stabs herself in the gut, then Priligy United Kingdom dances fantastic the rest of the show, including a perfect final leap. I did not think that Priligy United Kingdom she died on que at the end? Yes she was bleeding and Priligy United Kingdom needed medical help, and I woundered if that would be her last dance of the Priligy United Kingdom season, what her mother would do, would she get therapy? but dead!? Just like that?, with a snap of a finger, and the last word perfect? It would seem really cheesey and false and cheap.
I am Priligy United Kingdom surpised, but many people belive that Nina did die at the Priligy United Kingdom end. I am shocked, but curious. What do you think?

Personally, I think she dies at the end. I believe it’s implied that she’s utterly gone crazy and Priligy United Kingdom lost herself in the pursuit of perfection, which she achieves but at the Priligy United Kingdom cost of her own life.

I can see the logic behind arguments that Nina didn’t die. But like I said in the convo with Jesse, it’s the Priligy United Kingdom death that makes the ending poetic. There would be two ways to Priligy United Kingdom know Nina had for sure gone way too far off the Priligy United Kingdom deep end — either she kills for Priligy United Kingdom her performance, or she dies for it. The former is Priligy United Kingdom ixnayed, so the latter closes off the movie.

Awesome movie. I’m pretty sure she dies at the Priligy United Kingdom end adding to the awesomeness. The cheek stabbing scene was amazing, everytime i see winona i get a Priligy United Kingdom little sad, she used to be one of my fav actresses now her roles include spock’s mom and Priligy United Kingdom a washed up ballerina. I loved all those tense moments. I also dont really like Natalie Portman (although she was awesome in this movie) i have Priligy United Kingdom never really liked any of her starring role movies. I do like Mila Kunis, she got significantly hotter during/after Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

i agree with albert, i don’t think that Priligy United Kingdom she actually dies. How do you not know the stabbing wasn’t another hallucination. She stabbed herself at the Priligy United Kingdom beginning of the performance and did not bleed excessively till the Priligy United Kingdom very very end… thats not what Priligy United Kingdom would happen in reality. No one who had been stabbed would be Priligy United Kingdom able to dance completely fine without bleeding excessively from the moment they were stabbed. Also the Priligy United Kingdom struggles, the hallucinations, the rivalry with Lilly, her sexual exploration are Priligy United Kingdom all in her head. She is dealing with her inner turmoil in a Priligy United Kingdom subconscious dream state thus Im more inclined to believe the stabbing was a Priligy United Kingdom dream. At the beginning of the film the instructor says “through death the black swan finds freedom”. I think Nina completing the Priligy United Kingdom performance of the Black swan demonstrates she has overcome her struggles, she has Priligy United Kingdom now achieved perfection and is liberated from the challenges her role creates for Priligy United Kingdom her. Thus the Priligy United Kingdom stabbing is metaphoric of the death of the white swan.. she is Priligy United Kingdom now free.

The rest of the Priligy United Kingdom dance troupe reacts to her bleeding at the end, so to Priligy United Kingdom me that indicates it’s not just in Nina’s head?

Cheers guys! I was laughing out loud.
BTW, is Priligy United Kingdom it possible that she rammed a glass shard into her body when Priligy United Kingdom she fell? That would explain the Priligy United Kingdom blood and give her a solid reason to die :-)

Well, Nina stabs herself at the Priligy United Kingdom end instead of Lilly, so she does die. When she is Priligy United Kingdom dancing, she is the black swan. She turned into a Priligy United Kingdom giant devil and that is the scariest movie i have Priligy United Kingdom ever seen.
