Toronto Fan Expo 2011 Photos (and the Ashcan’s award for most amazing cosplay)

Lots of things happened at this year’s Toronto Fan Expo that will be forgotten quickly. “Djurdjegate” will become nothing but another arcane reference for comic fans, and nobody will remember that one time Hayden Panettiere got lost at the airport, not even her. But there is that one thing forever at Fan Expo: the woeful and wonderful and, for the most part, un-critical enthusiasm for genre fiction and pop culture.
I’m all about it. I mean check out this guy, who tops my list for most amazing cosplay:
He didn’t dress up as a character from Call of Duty. He dressed up as Call of Duty. Those are his hands. I’m being sincere when I say, this is the stuff of amazing.
